Description of the ECC Project:
A new Ethylene Cracker Complex (ECC) was built next to the Bukom refinery in Singapore. Grootint GRP Systems was awarded end 2006 as EPC(I) contractor for the GRP Piping system. The diameters of this system vary from ND250 upto ND2700 (PN10). Our scope of work included a 1000hrs pressure test (ISO14692) at 24barg. As a consequence of our project approach we managed to complete said challenging project (e.g. logistics, humidity, involved diameter) within schedule and budget with respect to safety and quality.
